Intermediaries Mortgage Submission Process
1. Check your clients affordability using the Affordability Calculator on Brokerpoint platform, then either go directly to point 3 below, submit full application or
2. Proceed to an AIP (Residential Cases Only - for BTL proceed to Application)
Please note for applications that attain a credit score "Refer" a full application must be submitted together with all supporting documentation to enable our underwriting team to access the application.
3. Full online application
We aim to process your application as quickly as possible in order for us to do this we required your co-operation in supplying us with Supporting Documents within 7 days of submission.
Supporting Documents
- Signed and dated mortgage declaration, direct debit & fully completed Identity Verification certificate (Please remember to use the client's full name)
- Evidence of income (see Brokerpoint for details)
- Evidence of suitable repayment vehicle is required for all interest only or part interest only Residential applicants. (See Brokerpoint for details)
- Valuation fee (if applicable) by cheque or alternatively the applicant can pay by debit card by calling the mortgage service centre on 0845 330 5565
- Please be aware that the free type notes section just prior to submission can be used for any matter you wish to draw to our attention
You may be required to provide further information to support the application, our processing team will contact you by email with any requests if this is the case. (Please be aware that the email address we will use to communicate with you is the email address used by you as part of your Login)
Important Notices
Only on receipt of the above documentation can we commence processing your application.
As we aim to produce the Customers' mortgage offer within 14 days (our current SLA), any failure to supply these documents promptly will cause an unnecessary delay and ultimately could result in your case being cancelled.
If all requested supporting documentation are not received within 25 days of submission the application will be cancelled.
Cancelled applications will need to be resubmitted choosing from the latest product range.
Please note that should your initial application cancel as a result of non receipt of requested information within the initial 25 day preiod, only one further submission will be permitted.
